“Vice Moves Faster than Business”: Sex, Capital, and the Movies at 42nd Street (2021). 30-page final paper produced for an independent study on Exploitation Cinema, focusing on the connection between economic development and non-normative sexualities in the 42nd Street area between the early 20th century and the 1980s, with a focus on pornography and the representation of grindhouse theaters in popular cinema.
